It happens a lot. Guys get upended. Skating around at 45 mph and crashing into each other, it’s going to happen. But the part you never think about- the feet go flying….and there be razors attached to’em. How do more guys NOT get cut? Seems like it should happen all the time. At the very least, it seems like more jerseys should get sliced.
It’s bound to happen- 3 guys crashing the net shift after shift after shift. You can’t check the goalie, so you have to stop short. And with all that speed, the stopping sends a little snow toward the eggman in all the pads. And then the fun starts.
OH so and so takes exception so now comes the pushing. And BANG! An otherwise boring game gets some life. The goalie simply wipes his mask and moves on.
The fact that SAP Center hasn’t been sold out every single night in 2014-2015 is disheartening. Here I thought our fans were some of the strongest in the NHL. And all it took was a few odd loses to Buffalo and some are jumping ship. I encourage you to avoid Edmonton in your life then- you’d never make it there.
